Yvon BRETON

Yvon Breton was born on June 15th 1942 in Jonhville, Quebec. Following his high school education in Sherbrooke, he attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Montreal, from 1962 to 1968.

A native of the Eastern Townships, Yvon Breton already handled the pen with dexterity during his childhood. At the age of twenty years old, recognizing his talent, he enrolled at the School of Fine Arts and pursued his studies in visual arts. Yvon Breton then worked in a graphic arts studio. Perfectionist, he experimented with all processes related to this area, acquiring experience that would serve him throughout his career. He chose painting as a means of expressing his creativity. The success of its first exhibitions strongly encouraged him to persevere. Yvon Breton is wholly dedicated to his art. Art lovers and collectors appreciate the emotion he communicates through his brush and his choice of colors. The artist is a self proclaimed pacifist, hardworking and sensitive. It is his success in Quebec and Canada that is encouraging him to move forward.
