Multidisciplinary artist born in Montreal, Pierre Du Charme has developed a passion for turning wood. He has self-perfected his art in since the mid 1980s.
According to him, observing the wood is vital to pay homage to nature, to discover its traits of character, its originality, its colors and to tell its story.
The artist uses oil for the finishing of his pieces in order to preserve the sensual touch. He insists that his pieces are a pleasure to touch and look at.
