Fernand LABELLE

Born in Cornwall, Ontario in 1934, Fernand Labelle moved to Quebec in 1968. A graduate in political science, economics, and contemporary French literature, he left a career as a professor to devote himself to painting. Influenced by the work of Van Gogh he expresses, with passion and in an impressionistic style, the nature of the Laurentians. He has had many exhibitions and his works have been shown in several major cities of Canada and France and they are sought after by private and corporate collectors.
