Jacqueline TULL

Water colorist
A multi faceted artist. She made her debut with drawing and explored in turn gouache, oil, acrylic and enamel on copper.

It is with stained glass, however, that she laid the first milestone of her artistic career. Over a period of more than twenty years she passionately invested herself in this art, reaching a summit in excellence by developing her own original method of glass fusion. Stained glass brought her many prizes and distinctions and confirmed her exceptional artistic talents.

Watercolor was a major turning point. It was the year 2000 and the love affair started. She now is fully dedicated to this medium. The uniqueness of her work comes from scenes that she populates with the characters from her childhood and youth; parents, children, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, friends, nuns and monks are presented with faces shorn of all features. Thus depersonalized, they become actors in a play that plunges the viewer in a fascinating dream of a bygone past.
